Budget-Meals, Inc. is simply another tool in helping people
feed their families, not just today,
but for the rest of their lives. This
not-for-profit organization was founded
on the old Chinese proverb "Give a man
a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach
a man to fish and you feed him for a
lifetime". It is the goal of
Budget-Meals, Inc.
to help low income families "eat for
a lifetime" and slash their food budget
in the process.
Volunteer trainers are an integral part
of the
Budget-Meals, Inc.
mission; without the proper team of
trainers we would be unable to take
our message to the people who need it
the most. Our volunteers are asked to
complete approximately 10 hours of training
where they will learn the methods and
techniques that are needed to conduct
successful training sessions.

Our
volunteers will teach (with another
team member) class participants how
to budget for groceries, shop and prepare
healthy, nutritious meals for the entire
family. We ask that they are able to
donate a minimum of 2 days a month towards
this goal.
